An auto is better then a manual once you make decent HP, most of the fast cars you see are autos... As long as you have a nice stall and a decent valve body they are great...

I agree, my car is way more fun to drive, I don't miss the 6 speed one bit, the car is faster everywhere and still gets decent milage thanks to the lock up

Yea, I have a T-5 car, but I'm gonna do a Dynamic C4 or AOD.... I'm not sure which route I want to go yet... AOD=more money, but you still can cruise to the beach... C4=cheaper, but you struggle on long drives if you have steep gears... I like driving the car so I don't thing I want to lose driveability, I still have my AC...lol... People think I'm crazy, but I love crusing with the A/C on and still beating stripped down "halfass race" cars....lol

i am not sure what other mustang guys are running, but get a 3000 stall. that will be ur best mod, and you'll wish u would have known about it sooner. but u will need some tires afterwards, preferably drag radials.
TQ converter = best mod for auto

manual is more fun at the track because there is less room for error and its easier to improve times from just learning how to drive it better.

That makes no sense at all... "manual is more fun at the track because there is less room for error".... I've never seen anybody miss a gear in an Auto...

it makes perfect sense..... its more fun to drive because you can always launch better... or shift better for a better time etc. and knowing that its you the driver that results in your time, rather than just powerbrake and launch then floor it....that gets boring, i know i used to have an auto.

I'm assuming you meant 'MORE' room for error? Manuals are the best hands down for street and daily driver applications, but you will be hard pressed to find a manual in any serious race application.
