I would race you from a dig with my SRT-4, and I really have traction problems while putting 500HP (that's with race gas) or 430HP(that's pump gas) down! But trust me, I catch up pretty quick!

I dont understand (but not a big racer). If you start from a roll, lets say 10 mph or 20 mph, how can a 4 cyl. beat a V8 in the Torque deparment for jumping off that roll. I would think you are both turning lower RPMs, and I thought those 4 cyl need to reve the hell out of their engines to get any power? Just curious.

well i've ran srts down at the track smoked 1 he ran like a 16 or something like that next 1 got paired with
probably had a nice turbo setup smoked the **** outtame and that was from a dig he was runnin 12-13's

I ran this silver SRT-4, and from a dig I got him by about a length and a half, but both times as I was grabbing for 3rd he just passed me like I was standing still. That car was damn fast, and im sure far from stock, cuz he just pulled me bad !!! It really pissed me off, but Id love to run him again now with my mods, and my 4.30s

I like most of you would agree I'm sure that racing is from a dig, not a role. However these kids in SRT-4s always refuse to go from a dig, which puts us at a huge disadvantage. Now personally I am sick of them thinking they have a faster car b/c they beat me from a role. What do I need to do, short of going forced induction to keep them at bay from a role? Gears? I need help here guys, I can't stand their smug looks after the race. Is there any hope??

Forced Induction. Then he is toast. haha Now you see the frustration of us WRX/STi owners. Nobody wants to race against AWD from a dig. Especially SRT-4's. They have problems hooking up especially when modded.

YE ALOT OF SRT-4'S WANT TO GO FORM A ROLL CUZ THEY HAVE NO TRACTION WITH THE FRONT DRIVE...I HAVE ONE I KNOW WHAT ITS LIKE..I SPIN EVEN FROM A 40 ROLL....BUT THESE GUYS U RACE GET THE ADVANTAGE SO WHY SHOULDNT U GET AN ADVANTAGE, TELL THEM U WOULD RACE FROM A ROLL AND THEN RACE FROM A STOP, I ALWAYS DO IT LIKE THAT....IF THEY DONT WANT TO THEN JUST SAY F U AND GO FIND ANOTHER RACE LOL...

i understand how you guys feel i was in orlando a couple months back n i ran in to a black srt4 n my buddy sitting shotgun is like hey just smoke him its a ricer n i mean by the i got thru 2nd he was 4 to 5 car lengths on me granted i had 3 other ppl in the car with me as i was leaving a club
so i kinda got alittle pissed u know like wtf is wrong with my car considering ive raced a stock one when i was stock n had him by a couple car lengths by 110mph so i catch up to him we go from a roll at 60 n i dropped to 2nd by the time i slapped it into 3rd he had 3 lengths on me
lol i felt so embarrest cuz he let me catch up he just started to laugh for all i know tho that thing was a stage 3 so i dont feel so bad now that ive done a alittle research on them i know what he had ive seen those things smoke srt8 chargers n viper in videos now
for anyone that doesnt believe me can see for themselves on streetfire.net
