The 05 V6 autos are clocked at 15.3 in the zines. They pretty easily get into the 14's with an intake/tune... maybe exhaust. There are several guys running in the 13's here on the boards with one at 13.1. PHP has a new turbocharger coming out... their highly modded ride has broken into the 11's. Not too shabby for a little 4.0L, eh?
I've only raced one other Mustang (street racing is bad... be safe!)... it was a 95-98 GT and it wasn't even close. He caught up and I waved. He waved back with a big smile.

how do you figure if it was a gt hed of taken me?? i run just as fast as them, and drive better than most owners of that gen i see around. i dont know maybe it was modded, or maybe he had a big run at me (never noticed)

ive yet to witness them run anywhere near a mid 13, best is a quite high 13, with 90% of them going 14.0-14.2
people claim they can run it, and im sure a really good driver will. same as people say foxes are high 14s, when i have seen my father run 13.97 out of his stock fox and a 14.20 out of my mothers.
as far as my mods.. ive got king cobra clutch, blue thunder shifter, k&n filter, no smog or air silencer, 3:73s, ceramic shorties, 2.5 o/r h pipe, flows, electric fan, etc.

the 05 v6s are on par performance wise wit a fox body 5.0. well, stock that is. a 05 v6 is capable of running high 14's. the 95 u raced was a turd, they run like 19's in the quarter or something like that... you probably ran against a modded one.

the new autos are just aboot as fast as the manuals, so that is not a big difference, they are alot better then the 4R70W auto though,
the 4.0 responds good to mods, but they cant hold boost for sh*t

I witnessed a 05 v6 run 14.79. From a roll your fox isnt really going to pull away much, just not that much of a power difference at those speeds. Hell you probably have around the same power lol he just has a lot more weight.
