Thats not necessarily true. If the car works together as a while...Meaning, the suspension is dialed in perfectly, quite a bit of weight reduction, moving some weight around in the car, geared right, and the worlds best driver mod. I guess it's possible. It's pretty unlikely, but I suppose it could be done.

Where I have to draw the line is the 300 hp from a roll. Which believe it or not, is where an LS1 really shines. All the suspension in the world isn't going to help you over come 40 hp from a roll. And then putting 3.5 cars on it?

I hate to be a nay sayer, but I just don't see that happening.

There is just no way. It would take so so much to move something that fast, which that little power without meeting the requirements that I posted about. However, since his "race" was neither at the track, nor from a dig, it all is rather irrelevant anyway. He just tried to use that as an example to provide some kind of proof that he could have won, but it's not really gong to fly.


The rest of it I'm with you on as we are both on the same page. I just don't want to think that he wants to admit that either:
It was a V6
He is pushing a lot more then the 300 HP he claims
The SS didn't actually race him
It's just a story.

why not post your engine/cam/head specs, you might be thinking three hundred and be packing a helluva lot more . more info would help justify your race
