Default wider tires

I have a '67 Fastback that I want to put wider tires on. Right now, it's only got P195/75's all around, they were the cheapest I could find, plus they fit my '87 Toyota pickup. I was hoping to put some P275/60's on the back and P245/60's on the front. I was wondering if anybody knew if they would fit without having to tub the wheel wells. Thanks

Default RE: wider tires

it's all a question of wheel width and wheel offset or backspacing. get with a good tire store in your area and they can work with you to get the biggest wheels and tires that will fit without you using the trial and error method. there's usually one in every area that sells a lot of wheels and tires to the youth market and that's one reason they stay in business, by helping people get what they want.
