Easy Kill

I know for a fact that the four cars I've mentioned are a 13.5 in a quarter mile (with an excellent driver) . I'm not sure what a 99GT does in a quarter mile? But I would think it would be close.

I dissagree on the EVO being faster than 13.5. They put down like 230ish stock whp and they weigh 2800 lbs. The quickest I have seen a stock Evo is high 13s at high 90s traps. I can see mid 13s but nothing better than 13.5 stock. The rest of those cars on the list do run better than a 13.5.
An Sti has a 300 hp turbochaged engine and according to Subaru the car does 13.5 stock in a quarter. Yes, that is a quote from Subaru (biased maybe? I dont know but take it for what it's worth).

They actually seem to run low 13s. What color is your vette? I love the new C6.
It's Monterey Red ( the General slapped me with an additional $750.00 becauase of the paint option)
The 2006 is the first year of a new six speed auto with paddle shifts (what I have) but am affraid to do any mods except exhaust upgrade (the stock exhaust sounds too passive for my taste) until I know the stresses this tranny can take. I have no Z-51 package but is loaded with everything else (Heads Up Display , Navigation, etc.)
I know adding an exhaust with X-pipes will add an additional 20lbs of TQ and 20 hp of power. It's pretty minimal compared to other mods but what do you think that would translate to on a car that weighs just under 3200lbs? maybe a 1/10 of a second faster?

Magazine editors (Motor Trend, etc) have run low 13's/13 flat in them.

With those gains I would say at least a tenth if not 2. Your car should be good for 12.40s stock. I saw a 05 C6 auto run 12.53@110 stock and that was with the 4spd. The new tranny from everything I have read and heard it wonderful. From the description of your car I want

I have personally raced a stock Evo that ran 13.44. I have the video on my desktop. This year, with a few basic mods, he's running mid 12's.
Magazine editors (Motor Trend, etc) have run low 13's/13 flat in them.

I've seen those numbers in Car & Driver.
