Took one out from a light just a bit ago. Had him nose to tail until we shut down at maybe 20 or so over the limit. I thought those were much faster, no? I think it was an AT though, could that have been it? Doesn't make sense...

 

there is only about a 10-15hp differnece. maybe he was a bad driver. Or you are good

Thats right, a kill is a kill. And like everyone else said, he should have beatin you and I dont think Acura made the RSX Type S in Auto, but I could be wrong.

 

Keep in mind there is a RSX and a RSX Type-S.

The RSX Type-S was 6-speed manual only, and a RSX-S would have killed you good.

 

wrong my buddy has an 04/05 type s, we play all the time.. there nothing speical.

 

RSX type S has about the same output you do, and weighs 400lbs less... like everyone else said you did beat the driver... I would think in a race, you'd take him out of the hole, and he'd catch you...

Specs on it is... 200hp/142lbs of tor and it weighs a hefty 2778lbs... while your at 193hp/200lbs of tor and around 3200lbs...

 

well you said you only raced up till 20 over the speed limit so maybe that was it. You have him beat on torque and you didn't give him enough time to catch up. Or he could've been a little kid that mommy and daddy just bought him his first stick car. Then it was probably the driver.

 

My buddy just got an 2003 Rsx type S, and i have to say it definitly is a drivers race. we raced a couple different times, and down low i was pulling on him constantly. Up top he may take you due to that sixth gear. When we raced, it came down to who had traction. First race he got me cuz i was spinning all the way up to and including 3rd. Second race, i launched between 2000-2500 rpm, got traction and it was over. we are gonna do some more runs when we get a chance to fully see how we stack up. By the way i have 2000 v6, 5spd, CAI, and true duels.
