Low 14's vs 15 flat isn't a good race, the occassional SS/SC may run a 14.9 but anyone can mess up.
well, im not trying to pick a fight, but from what ive seen/heard, 90% of Cobalts dont run low 14's, many are high, and many rsx are in the 15 flat range, thus, making most of them a good race righ?

Well your right to some degree, a car is only as fast as the driver.

The high 14 low 15 second Cobalt SS/SC's make all of them look bad but thats what happens when you make a decently fast car with a $22,000 MSRP.

rsx are no match at all from a dig vs. a gt. i realy think i could go from first to third and still destroy them.
Than you havent raced a Type S with mods.

Any mods? Actually I'm surprised, because the ivtec would have kicked in and he should be faster at top end, 99-04 GT's are dogs for top end.

As i said before, i didnt beat the car, i beat the driver. i had a couple things in my favor, 1) Is that he just bought the car a month ago. 2) is he just got a brand new short throw. And 3) I am more used to my car and know it like the back of my hand. So all those things combined helped me out in the end.

I totally understand that. I was just stating my experiences and knowledge for those who was saying a full bolt on RSX Type S cant beat a 99-04 GT, and I was stating it could.

I understand that. My experience is that any car can be any car. All it takes is some money and inginuity(spelling??),lol thats why i hate it when somebody always says some thing like v6 mustang=slow, or something like that. just wait till you get dusted by i hooked up one. i cant stand the close mindedness of people. i am sure you have run into that too.
