To start off with.. GREAT RACE STANMAN!

Second, my 99 Cobra is rated @ 320 Hp.. STANMANS 05 GT is rated @ 305 HP.. Pretty close if you ask me..

Second, were DAM close in mods..
- He has a cold air intake, I have a cold air intake..
- He has an axle back exhaust, I have an axle back exhaust..
- He has a tune, I have a tune..
- He has 4.10s, I have 4.10s..
- He has a short throw shifter, I don't have one..
- He doesn't have an O/R H, I do have an O/R H..
- He did not have a 250+ lb. passenger, I did have a 250+ passenger..

I don't think anyone was out driven.. I think he has 6 years of technoligy on his side and I have a hand built motor that is 6 years older.. He didn't have a 250+ lb. passenger and I did..

Either way, it was a FUN RACE.. No one was out driven here.. Just 6 years in technology and a weight difference is what made the difference here IMO..



P.S. STANMAN.. My brother, that was with me, went and looked at a white 06 GT later that night.. He was soooo impressed with your 05 that he had to test drive one and is moving forward to buying one.. You might get a PM from me regarding your pin stripes [sm=smiley20.gif]

 

Great news!!! You should go with him next time so you can race a stock S197 and see how badly you rape it, and then let me know, so I know where I stand against one stock, lol. Like we were talking about, not to many people like to run here, and generally if they do and they get beat, they are just weiners afterwards and never want to talk.

 

Oh, and I didn't have a 250 lb passenger, but I did have a 250 lb driver, lol! It was cool meeting you, and I am sure I will see you around!! Watch out for my SRT though!

Don't you worry though.. Things are in the works that will help me beat you.. I could either A) be getting some big mod or B) ordering plastic explosives and planting them inside your car.. Either way I will be faster [sm=icon_sneaky.gif]

 

you may want to invest into B the explosives. lol. But i saw you asking about the supercharger in the SVT section so i know that you are definately thinking about it.

 

Yellow, we also talked about the bidding war your car would start should you ever have to sell it. Like for getting to many tickets perhaps. Just don't do anything else before I get my SRT back!!!! (06-25-06 is the day it will be returning home, if all goes well)

 

Nice race Stanman. It's always fun when you are up against someone you know that's a cool guy or girl. Better if it's a girl. I love those races where the cars are very even. It's way more exciting.
