not all cops are ****** though. i was sitting at a light and a cop car was pulling up beside me and i looked out of the cooner of my eye and saw it. i noticed there was lots of room for him to pull up and he rolled down his window trying to get my attention. i thought he was going to get me for my exhaust or something. he said "you have a turbo or a blower in there?" and i was like "blower". he says "sounds awesome".

 

yeah i've been let go for speeding because the cop liked my car, but this was back when i had my contour SVT. I haven't just lightly been pulled over in the stang(knock on some wood), but i've only been pulled over once in the stang and that was for racing.

 

That cop must of been one of those kids that drove a ricer to school and got his *** beat by all the muscle cars. Also you could probably get them to pull the tape of the intersection to clearly see you did not speed through it, that is if your town has the intersection cameras. F that cop!!!! He probably beats his wife!!

 

I have been pulled over twice in the stang and let of both times. First time I was in a school zone and I was just doing speed limit but it was school hours. When the cop pulled me over I told him I honestly didnt know it was a school zone. The second time I switch lanes without using my blinker, punched it and switch bake over without a blinker. He pulled me over and told me what I did then he just started talking to me about my car.

This was another incident in my 95 Z28 with my two chamber Flows. fkn bastard gave me a fix-it ticket for it and to top it all off I purchased this vehicle used from a Chevy dealership as is. I felt I was doublecrossed by the dealer for selling me car with an illegal exhaust. Anyhow I contacted Flowmaster and they faxed me a ton of liturature on penal codes on aftermarket exhausts. Thats where you are wrong sir. Harleys do not leave the factory loud. Theyre actually very quiet. The new ones you can barely hear at all. If youre next to a harley that is loud, that is aftermarket exhaust. A guy I work with is the president of the harley chapter around here. And I used to work a motorcycle dealership, harleys arent loud from the factory.

I get pulled over by ***** cops all the time so I know the feeling, but I have got pulled over by acouple cool cops who just let me off with a warning...

 

I don't know what your area is like but if you don't feel like fighting the ticket on your own get a traffic attorney. It's what I've done in the past and what most of my friends do. The good part is you don't even have to appear most of the time. I'm in Fort Lauderdale and they are all over the place. After I've gotten a ticket I usually get mailings from traffic attorney's. Made it hard to hide them from my parents when I was living at home.

The thing about most tickets is that it's just a way for the city to make money. I've read too many articles to know that speed doesn't kill and that when the speed limit was raised to 70 mph the highways were not running with blood. If you didn't do anything wrong you need to fight this. Even if it costs you money and time.

 

so far i have run into really understanding cops, sorry about that, that guy was a dick
