Race from a dig and you probably will win. roll races are for people who are afraid they might lose a race for not launching properly.
Thats the same way I feel, but like 80% of the people around my town these days do nothing but roll race. Atleast 2 or 3 times a week on my way to work I have someone trying to race me while I'm just cruisin, but I just let them speed off and think they're the sh*t.
I guess it's just more popular because it's less risky. There is less chance you will get busted on highways (carefully chosen by the racers) for racing than on the streets. And on the highway, there is no question that anyone would race from a dig. People just line up, slow down to block off traffic, cruise at a given speed, and take off.

nice race. congrats on the win. and for the record, the GS-T's are faster than the GSX's. from a dig, they gsx will win if they driver can, uh, drive, but, after that the added weight of the differential and all the corresponding parts to be awd take over and kills it. the GS-T will then pull ahead. just a lil info for you all. congrats again on the win
165 hp GS-T > 210 hp GSX? I dont think so. The GSX's weigh a bit more but they also have 45 or so more hp stock.

uhh. HOW. its the same f**kin engine. ive seen in it in person. i have DSM friends who say the exact same thing i do.

Edit: they have the same hp. 210 vs 210. its the same engine. one just has an extra differential, cv axles and a driveshaft.
