Nothin wrong with the classics as far as I'm concerned. Fact is my first mustang was a 60 somethin robin egg blue "hot wheels" convert with a white interior. Wanted one ever since then. My neighbor has a red one rusting away in his garage. Its a shame...... would be a nice car if he fixed it up.

HAHa, im an ignorant *****!!!!! Sure, I dont usually bust on peoples cars, but i come here, and see people treating classics like dirt, i am bound to talk about the junk you think are cool. Eye for an Eye. Oh and BTW i wouldn't start name calling on here, like little kids. chill out. Yes we all agree that a old 6 banger mustang wont touch any new car, but you guys need to understand, most slightly modified V8's well give most new cars a run for there money. The new GT mustangs, really are not all that badassed. 300 HP. Whoopie do. They also weigh more then any of the early year stangs. If you want to talk about fast cars, Talk a A Z06 vette, or a Viper, or even a damn GTO will beat one.

It's a turd because it pretty much sucks not because it's old.

Whats up katz?? I am a die hard classic fanatic. However, I have to admit I DO love my 98 GT. The classics do have a Feel, and nostalgia that the new ones could never have.

Wow! You're certainly on the ball aren't you?
And BTW get it right. The 66 had an inline 6 not a V6. It just ***** me when people can't get it right! NOT ALL 6 CYLINDER MOTORS ARE "V" CONFIGURATION!
sorry i dont spend much time researching about that stuff. i should committ suicide now since i didn't get a post right BFD.
Whatever
Your choice. Im happy either way.

I'm not saying that you are. I'm saying that's how you came off on your post. I wasn't sure if you were being sarcastic or not. Here, let me point out exactly what I meant.

thank you Adam. Without the old cars. These pieces of S**T new cars, that are breaking down left and freaking right wouldn't be hear. Frankly, Im sick of new cars. They are garbage. IF you think your cars will outlast out classics GET A LIFE. They have been around 40 years, and they will be around another 40 years. I doubt there will any 80-2000, vehicles around in another 40 years. They will be sitting in junkyards. AS far as power??? Our cars are lighter, and can make power more easily. We dont have all of these smog control junk, these new cars have. A classic 289 mustang can beat a newer mustang, without TONS of work done to it. A stock hipo would run up againest a 05-06 GT just because of the wieght savings.

I bet my 98 will be parked right next to my 65 another 40 years from now. I think you guys really need to chill out. I dunno how you guys can get so wound-up over such a topic. New or classic, they are still mustangs. I will forever be a die hard Mustang fanatic, and hopefully my children will as well. To sit there and badger a classic or a new model is just rediculous. The classics have that raw horsepower, fly by your pants, white knuckled, hope she'll get me home alright fell that you could never get w/ a newer model. The way they kinda wander down the road, the smells and awsome sounds are irreplacable. On the other side you have the newer thoroughbreds. Fine tuned, practicle, technological wonders that still hold dear to the mustang heritage. We just cant forget where they all come from. If it werent for the classics, the newer models wouldn't exist. If it weren't for the newer models, the classics would probably fade into non-existance. Lets face it, all gens of Mustangs revolve around each other.

True. HipoFord.... so1o2k3, I dont mean to sound like that. I at the moment, I have an 2004 Dodge, that sensors are going out, it loses power whenever it feels like it, and just acts like a piece of junk sometimes. It's a 04 Stratus R/T. 200 Hp, blah blah. I just think it's bad gas though..... anyway, im just mad at newer cars at the moment. Now, Something we all should agree on, OLDER CARS ARE EASIER TO WORK ON!!!!!!!!
