Supercharged ETs
ive been making money over summer...and ive been debating on mods to do.
i dont know whether to go with full exhaust and gears, etc....or to keep saving for a supercharger...
question is...
what do all you guys running supercharged New Edge Stangs run in the quarter?
if thats with a lot of supporting mods...what do you think a mostly stock 03 GT could run supercharged, with a good tune and whatnot?

Thanks, I got it used with less than 5000 miles on it. It was off an 04gt. Guy sold the car and bought a busa or something. 2500 for everything not bad at all... I was waiting till end of august but I couldnt pass up on that deal. Only 2 paychecks haha... bad part is I owe my parents 1200 for car insurance for the rest of the year.
thats about the deal I got for my procharger kit / 2 core intercooler. Ramrod- I can't tell you yet but after running umpteen 13.2-13.4s with the mach driving the GT with the procharger is good for at least mid to low 12s. Hell if you Have some 31splines with a good trac lok and some decent control arms to launch the **** out of it I think it could pull 11.9s. On a strait strip where the mach use to trap 104-105 (1/4 distance) the GT is about 111-113. My .02....save for the blower and a good tune!

ramrod, the problem is that alot of people think 'well, a terminator runs 12s, and its supercharged, so if im supercharged, ill run 12s too"...but there is alot of work when getting into boosting a stock NA car, and even when it is properly tuned and such, it takes alot of accompanying items to make the car really "work".

I'm a poor college student, but every thing i've done to the car in the last 2 years was pretty much with a supercharger in mind. Would have been nice to add rods/pistons to the mods list before the supercharger haha.

even if i had a GT, i dont know that i would go the supercharger route...there are guys here with daily driven, NA GTs that run as well as stock cobras...

Haha code and he has like 15k into it. I figure if something goes wrong i'll just put a sueprcharer friendly engine in it... sounds simple right? haha.
