I always have idiots tell me BS stories like that. Just last weekend the guy that works at Auto Zone was telling me about his V6 Camaro that has 280rwhp, with a Spec Stage 3 clutch, a muffler and an 80mm TB. Didn't really add up to me.

The only dealership special I would pay $50k for is that M-25 Mustang. There is one lucky guy on here that has one...

ORIGINAL: C6 VETTE

After doing some wine tasting in Sonoma,me and my g/f stop by my brothers house. His neighbor came out (28 year old female tweeker) and has a 2005 Mustang GT vert. I said to her "Thats a nice car" and thats when her BS begins. She says "My car is a California Classic Mustang that cost $50K" ([sm=bs.gif])Then she adds "My car is the only one in town with four headlights and special rims because of the California Package" ([sm=bs.gif] because all GT's have the two big fog lamps on the grill that make it look light four headlights and her rims were stock), Finally she mentions that she got the 1200watt factory stereo which I heard and sounds nothing near that wattage[sm=bs.gif].

Now I have seen the California Concepts upgrade before so I know this was [sm=bs.gif]. And if the selling dealer told her this and she really paid $50K she got f*cked up the **** and did'nt even know it. Then her boyfriend started talking about a 35ft speedboat going 200mph on the San Fran Bay and by that point I was lifting up my pant legs because I was knee deep in the [sm=bs.gif] and I said "well bro it's time to go" and got the hell out of there before I started spittin' flames.
a) they dont make a "california edition" gt, only a v6 (from the factory at least) that has some minor upgrades including smaller fog lights in grille
b) those cost 25k$ plus markup, depending on options
c)the shaker 1000 is a 800-1000watt PEAK system. there is no way that the stock amplification system puts out more than 400watts rms
d)200mph is not possible if there is ANY imperfection in the water surface (ie, needs a lake with no wind and no other boats)
e) if you started spitting flames, you might want to go to the doctor to verify you are not a dragon

i cant stand people like that, they make me want to slap them and in my opinion they should all be put on there own island somewhere where they can all sit down and tell stories to each other. i had a similar experiance just recently, i tried to compliment a guy at the gym on his 04gt(just like mine) and then the BS-ing just started pouring out like crazy. it made me so mad that i tried to talk to him, and make another "mustang buddy". he even tried to tell me that i was dumb for putting a KB on my car because you have to put a "different" motor in it to make it fit and that he wouldnt go through such trouble...at this point i started to just walk away, but he kept following me! i was waiting for Ashton Kutcher to pop out or something and i was so angry that if he did i proly would have punched him. oh well sorry for ranting, i feel your pain C6vete.

That reminds me of a kid who says his stock camry, I think a 98', does 0-60 in 5 seconds and he raced a new edge gt and 'smoked him". I argued with him for about 10 minutes but he swears it's true. BTW, he says he timed it with a stopwatch, I guess that stopwatch has one hell of a lag time.

lol what a moron...unless he meant 0-60' time even though how can you time anything accurately with a stopwatch. You would also have to account for your own reaction time when you hit the stop button. I hate stupid people

I had a guy I work with try to tell me his 800 intruder[I think]will go 0-60 in 2.7 sec.He took it to the track and ran a 13.9 at a whopping 89 mph.It was funny as hell,he had the only cruiser there, the rest were crotch rockets, and they were all running 10s and11s.He also told me how fast his '90 lexus gs p.o.s is and all it could do is a 17 flat.Funny crap.

Her real boyfriend is in jail (He's a successful business man that more than half her age) and they have an off the hook house. Well to make a long story short he bought this tweeker girlfriend of his a brand new Stang and she's currently paying the mortgage with his assets while he sits in prison. And the guy with the 200mph speedboat story is keeping her "sexually active" until he gets out of prison. In other word she's a loser b*tch.
