You're ignorant...and i'm here because there's knowledgeable people on this site that have a open mind and a love for cars like me.

And I never said my car is fast...she only has bolt-ons for cryin out loud. I seriously doubt you even own a stang...let alone a nice fox like in your sig.

Dood...stfu. You know you're wrong, hence the reason you began to attack other by not owning a Mustang. You can't prove the point you were trying to make, so you try to avoid it.

I like knowing about other cars. Just think, if you didn't know any better, you could run up on something like my car and want to race my "305." Then wonder wtf just happened when you're a couple train lengths behind. But since people like me are here, you know better. See how that works?

BTW, I don't think he has to prove that his LS1 is faster. I think time has done that.

im not avoiding it whats there to prove? transmission is all preference anyway. hell i had my way i'd have a 6 speed in every car i owned but i dont. im just saying the 4L60E i drove was a piece. the torque converter or w/e disengages OD was shot and the car would slip out of gear every minute.

Wanna see the recalls on the Ford GT? Does that make it a POS as well? Or the Cobra Mustangs? Or the intake problem on the GT's?

What do you think an LT1 Camaro with headers, exhaust, rockers, and a electric water pump should make to the wheels?
He probably has free mods and intake also...least I hope he does. Electric water pump...damn those are expensive. Anyway he's probably puttin down 290+ if those are LT headers...with your times it'll be a good race

Because ford had/has superior marketing...how many maro/TA commercials do you remember seeing during 98-02? I can only remember 1 TA commercial....the one with that black WS6 literally eats the car at the stop light. People won't buy what they know nothing about...hell people still have no clue GM's puts "vette" motors in f-bods and always has. GM handed it over IMO...

Plus the stang is a good lookin car and chics dig the 6'er...i'd love to have a mach or cobra...i stare everytime I see one. Ford keeps nailing it on the head..

With his mods and a tune he'd be at about 295 rwhp, maybe 300ish, with tires it's enough for a low-mid 13 for an average driver. Check out my times in my sig. My 12.79 is with all the mods listed.

Nothing wrong with the 4L60E transmission, it's a great piece. I just wanted a stick so I bought a 6-speed when I bought this 97. My old 94 T/A (435 rwhp, stock ported heads, ported stock intake, CC306) was an auto until I converted it to a 6-speed. Autos are great for drag racing but sticks are funner lol.

Oh just to clarify, all LT1 cars were underrated except 96/97 SS/WS6 cars. They got the real rating of 305 hp. All the LT1 cars from 94-97 had approx. 305. 93 cars were wierd and had a bit less (closer to their ratings).
