So now you can't have a ***** if you own a mustang? That's the type of statement that makes a lot of Ford guys despise Chevy guys. You have posted a lot of usefull information in the past so i would hope your not just some punk kid with his head up his ***. And LT1's are not the best thing since sliced bread. I just raced a 97 Z28 at the track last saturday in the 1/8th and the best time he could manage was a 9.6! So take it as it is.

if u think an LT1 is fast, u mustve not been in a fast car before.. they WERE fast in there time.

 

i wouldn't have a clue what my 95 made,but freind built a self ported heads.blower cam<which hurt him i think/full exhaust,and cut-outs...he made 302rwhp/370rwtq...his car was pretty sick..

about the tranny stuff he lost 3rd 5th,and 6th,and now he has his auto back in with no problems.

 

When GM dropped the LT1 in the F-bodys in 1993 it completely raised the bar on the Muscle/Ponycar rivalry. I still can't forget in a Motor Trend issue (1993) when they compared the '93 Z28 to the '93 Cobra and the Z28 completely outperformed the Cobra in every category. I used to own one so I know. Besides the Corvette or high end Euro's there were not many cars foreign or domestic that could beat that Z28 in the mid 90's. I miss it even to this day..............
