Do you get people wanting you to burnout all the time, Dan? I always like the, "what's it got in it?" Or the, "does that thing have a cam?" I usually just tell them it's a big block v6 with a fowled plug....if they're dumb enough to ask, they're dumb enough to believe me.

Nice kill. If I'm cruising on the highway I usually get a wave from fellow mustang drivers around here in NC. Usually the V6ers dont even look or turn their heads, but the GTs and Cobras always give a friendly wave. I do the same.

It gets annoying when I'm driving my car some places though. I always see people spinning their fingers around through their windows wanting me to do a burnout or if I go to watch a movie or something, people always say "Spin em!" in the parking lot.

Yeah everytime I'm out, someone tells me to spin the tires, I usually just rub my index and thumb together and say it'll cost you $$.

I'm not frying my tires for free. [8D]

A lot of younger kids ask me if my Cobra is REAL. [:@]

Big block v6 with a fowled plug....bwhahaha

burnout all the time, Dan
i never really understand why burnout is so popular in the US (is it? at least there is whole section for it at streetfire). What does it say about drivers skills or car performance apart from certain level of good torque?

It only smells bad & it eats tyres

to own Mustang here, xpress off-main stream attitude and thats why almost every stang owner (doesnt matter if V6, V8, Cobra, 85 or 06) acknowledges each other (I maybe forgot to add that I live in the Czech Rep.)

hehe

it happened to me about three times already that guys on the street asked me why do I have Ford logo on my wheels (stock GT wheels) when I have Mustang.

They are always surprised to discover that Mustang is Ford's brand ))))

That's pretty cool, the F-body guys/Corvette guys are all pretty tight-knit around here. It's lame how the Mustang owners all have major ***** envy towards eachother in my area.

burnouts are freakin cool, thats why.

good to see you met a stang driver who acknowledged you; thats getting increasingly rare. i would have revved it up and told u to go for it just because thatd be freakin sweet. not for the sake of us racing; just to see a cobra go WOT.

Haha that is great. I bet you were cracking up. A lot of times I find my self in awe of some of the stangs around here, but they dont really take a compliment too well.

d get no love, since 99% of other Mustang owners won't even look over at a light and acknowledge another Mustang..
is that really as bad in the US?

here it's just the opposite way. I ran into couple of Stangers at lights, parking lots and it always was nice little chat. PLus on the state roads when you see fellow Stang in opposite direction it is a must that you greet him with high beams or even horn and vice versa. I guess its mayabe because we dont have so much ponnies running around here.
not true where i live it is the same way. It was like when i had a crouch rocket everytime i would ride around and see another crouch rocket they would wave and its the same from stangs. Even the stangs that i pull up to at a light talk and are usually nice i would say 95% of the time there cool. Well accually just today saw a guy in a red 06 GT black stripes driving and i got up to the light with him and he just says "nice car man" i said "thanks" and we took off tried to punch it a little but as soon and i punched it 1st i was gone, but still a cool guy.

Ahh Dan they are just hatin' on your terminator. I don't see many around here since every one has ricers.
