SRT4 kill

Are you on drugs?? A 230HP car for under $20,000 and you say it's overrated??? My SRT-4 just ran an 11.61@121 at the SRT Nationals in Topeka. It has hella mods and was on a crap tune at the time. The car, as we speak, just picked up 20HP from dialing in the cams on the first try. That 20HP BTW brings my HP up to 480 to the wheels at only 25 lbs of boost, and more cam to dial in. Can you say 550@30lbs with no problems, fully street driven??? Yeah, overrated.

This was also a track where stock Viper SRT-10's were running mid 12's[:'(], and with basically a "it will run down the track without exploding" tune. There's a 10 second pass in this car's very near future @ Norwalk (one of the best tracks in the nation BTW). And you will never hear me argue that FWD is better than RWD. I may have sunk the price of the car into mods (don't even get me started about what I could have done to the Mustang with that money. I know.), which qualifies me as crazy, but only a crackhead would take FWD over RWD
[sm=icon_rofl.gif] Stan, that was your best post ever.... if it would fit into my sig it would already be there.
...we're quite a long way from the "3k is the most i'm willing to spend on it, and then i'm done" [sm=smiley36.gif]

I would say we're not in Kansas anymore, but that's where the car was last weekend when it ran the 11.6@121, lol.
But yeah, 3K is a distant, fond memory. I am already envisioning 3 years from now when the SRT-4 magically transforms into an SRT-8 Challenger so I can start all over again! (this time with the correct wheels being turned!!!!)
