sounds like it needs a tune

 

the motor is being torn down as soon as my mechanic gets the time (either this week, or in 2 weeks according to his schedual.) We belive the cam may be retarded as I am missing about 40whp and my compression is down 15 psi across the board from what it should be, both indicate the same thing, as well as the fact that when its cranked, it doesnt "bark" just kinda wheezes to life.
