OK, fine, I will add a race that I had a while back to make it good.
Was riding around down town when a Miata (gree, not sure about tranny) came up next to me. Even in my cars wierd state of tune, short-shifting i still managed to put 1 car on him 0-50. I was shifting at around 4-4500rpm and he was really winding them out and looking highly irritated at the loud *** car slowly walking away while short shifting. I found it fun and amusing. There, its a legit kill story now

I call BS when I see it for sure , but you must realize that no matter what my experiance is and how "expert" my opinion may be, there will be people here who want to argue. Personally I don't give a rats *** if Joe-Mustang owner thinks his car is faster than the space shuttle. Also please realize that us mods have real jobs, families and our own cars to worry about, this forum is voluntieer work for us, so no we can't, and should not have to call BS all the time.
WITH THAT SAID!!! You two guys need to drop all this BS, this is NOT the place for this crap. If you guys want to fight take it to PM's, don't make the rest of us suffer or waiste band width.

These threads should be moved IMO. Yes some of them are response threads but when they become response threads they should be considered OT.

you do know when a mod calls BS or has an opinion, 9 times out of 10, the members will jump on them and start trying to flame a mod. then go tell an admin when the mod has something to say in return. especially if the mod has a car in their sig that isn't a mustang.

The mods do call BS, and will ban your *** if you keep making BS claims and giving bad advice, cough matthockey cough, but yes, there are tons of people that make BS claims and post because lets face it, there are people on the other ends of those keyboards and people can and will lie out there *** when it comes to certain things. Now I can dispute that Ford screwed up against the LT/LS1 with this statement look whos still in business, then Mustang or the Camaro, sure GM is still debating bringing the Maro back but Ford has never caned the Mustang, sure they talked about it but it never happend. Just remember that it is all the extra things that GM through into the Camaro that made it's price, when compared to the stang, look way too overated so inturn look who won the battle. Sure the Mustang may not be as fast as most of the old Camaros and it may not handle quite as well, but it's those features, or lack there of, that kept price down and sales soaring.

I will agree 100% on that. GM did a **** poor job of marketing the F-bodies (any of you EVER see a camaro/Ta commercial on TV back when they were made...?)
I meant that ford was lack-luster performance-wise, but as far as sales, 3-1 they owned the F-bods. No argument from me there at all.
