I duuno. The C4 wasn't a real slacker. depending on what year you ran it had anywhere from 300 to 405 if it was a Zr1. a 96 could have had the 340HP LT4. at the very worst the slowest it could have been was a 13.9. that would be any stock base C4. if your only puting down 270's I don;t think you should have wasted it.

The C5's are a beast. starting at 345HP with very very strong upper end pull. you would have a real hard time with them untill the blower your planning. The Z06 is MEAN. The C6's are just plain ungodly. I wish I liked the vettes more but i'm just not much for them. I like the engines but thats about it

My Dad and Brother both bought '96 LT4 Vettes when they were giving them away at the end of the run. They had them for about 2 weeks and went to the track. They both ran 13.60's every time, and my Bro's hit 13.58 once.
