RE: MT ET drag radials
this guy speaks the truth
MT, bfg, then nittos.
i had the nittos for my first set of DR. they were just like a street tire till heated up. and then they still werent that much better.
these MT are badass. even though i can thook up the greatest at the track, they are badass on the street.

Are these tires going to be for street use, or track use? If for the track, you may as well look into a straight up slick if you've got no love for your axles. I'm not kidding, those MT Drag Radials will break **** when they hook hard.

This is just for your own information.
I've run Nitto's for a LONG time now. They've lasted well over 7k miles. They're a good/cheap DR that'll last you a while and still get some power on the ground. I was going 1.6-1.7's with them. If you want a good street tire that'll last a good while, I'd recommend Nitto's. If you want something that'll hook hard and last 2k-3k miles, get some MT's or BFG's. I'm gonna run the Nitto's on the street, (I don't race on the street really, it's just safer to run a DR on my car) and slicks at the track.
It's all in what you're looking for I guess. But IMO, slicks for the track, Nitto's for the street...unless you can afford to keep buying new DR's.
