Damn bitchin numbers.I'm guessing the 13.0@104 in your sig is on motor alone.I'd like to get a wet shot and get it tuned, but I probably wouldn't go much more than a 100 shot, since I don't have the money to rebuild my sh_t if it goes pop.

390rwhp and ran high 11's.. must've had a killer 60" time... That's not to easy to do in a 3500lb car...

nice numbers... my brother was putting 390 to the rear w/ a heads and cam kit and ran high 11's. He decided to get 4.10's put in the car and did some other bolt-ons but ended up selling it and never took it to the track again. She was a 2002 z28 and looked remarkable w/ 315's in the rear (nittos) and american racing hopsters which had to be customsized to fit the tire. All white w/dark tint, 12 disc cd player... what a beauty! I can't wait to trade this car in and get an LS1.

my friend with an 00 Z, almost full bolt on 3400 stall, put down 350/352. he was running 12.2@112 in the summer heat. in decent weather the car wouldve been in the 11's on motor. LS1's dont need as much power as cobras to put same ET. IMO.

Blazer, how high was he launching on the stall? what was his 60"? imo, same power, same weight is going to put down close numbers - only differance should normally be the gearing... if a Cobra and LS1 (which are within 100-150lbs) have = hp, and tor, and 60" they will run not much differant. most cobras aren't going to launch that high without the supporting IRS mods or a axle swap... dont wanna break nothin expensive, haha.. if hes at a 3400stall - i'd guess around a 3000 launch... and he's probably going to have a pretty spiffy 60", lol...

they were usually hi 1.7, i think his best was 1.76.
taking the stall out, the car definetly would not run the same.
cobras put down 350 RW stock, i havent heard of one running low 12's. just my opinion though.
dont get me wrong, i would own a cobra today if i could afford it. all my mustang friends know that.

haha... i've seen stalls on those Fbodies take off a full second on those cars... there was a guy around here run a low 13... putt a lid and 3500stall i think it was... and he now runs a 12.4-12.6, lol... you take off .5 from that - and thats right around a stock cobra drivin well... 12.7 or so - Cobras are also a tad heavier 200lbs i think it was... I can definatly understand that differance in power making the et's closer... but ive seen 500rwhp Cobras do mid-low 11's with a 1.6 60" - and it's pretty easy to put out 500rwhp in a Cobra.
