GTO!

I stopped at a dealership on the way home. Theu had a white vert that was already spoken for (not that would get another Vert or a white car). It seems like they are going to be hard to find for a while longer and people are still paying over list for them. They had an S281SC on the floor for $60k. I was under the impression that the E car was $70k. Why wouldn't someone just drop the extra dime?

Not that this has really anyting to do with this thread, but I put the "For Sale" sign on my GT this morning. I have decided that I really want a GT500, all 4,000 pounds of it. Hopefully I can get 8k for the GT and then I will find a dealer that is not looking to rape me. If I have to wait until next year so be it. BUt I am not driving the GT through the winter anyway, so might as well save the insurance. It's going to pain me to sell it, but a new GT500 will help ease that pain.

No matter what you do, I wish you well, and know you will love your new ride.

Hey amigo, I would just wait it out. Time IS money and it is a sellers market on these beautiful cars. Two things come to mind, one is that, like the GTO, the hp may increase in the second year, and some first year bugs can also be worked out. As I mentioned earlier about purchasing a 2009 Hemi Challenger, I will wait it out the first year. Like the Shelby there are many guys out there who are dying to get their hands on the Challenger, so the first buyers will be paying big bucks for what most buyers can get for MSRP late in the first year and into the second year..........also the first year bugs are gone.
No matter what you do, I wish you well, and know you will love your new ride.
