Like a drug dealer (undercover cop) comes up to you in the street and says "yo i got some dope, want some?" then after you say yes, he arrests you. The cop cannot intiate the crime, that's the thing. Just by driving next to a Camaro, it's not an invite to race even though all sports car owners think it is

Actually, the po-po can almost do that. They can make suggestions and hints enough. The whole idea of entrapment is this: the police officer has to presuade, trick, or otherwise convince somebody to do something they NORMALLY wouldn't do. If you're a drug dealer, then obviously you would probably normally sell/and or buy drugs.
