Default civic hatch

this weekend me and some friends went for a little trip and decided to take the mach. it was me, my large friend (quite large) , and my skinny friend, so there was some weight in the car. as i turn right onto a 2 lane, windy road, a civic hatch turns behind me and guns it through 1st and 2nd and each time he let off i could hear a blow off valve. he came up right on my rear bumber and stayed there as i cruised the speed limit on our way to the highway. as some of you may know, i havnt owned my mach very long so i was actually reall nervous and thought he would beat me. well, as i stop at the turn to geton the high way, i could tell he was getting ready cause he was watching for oncoming traffic as well. when i made the turn i went real slow while keeping it in 1st and waited for him to get next to me. as he turned he gunned it right away so he could pass me easily and as soon as he got close i nailed it, power shifted into 2nd and didnt let his front bumber pass mine. after about half way through 2nd i started pulling away and by the time i was half way through third i decided to call it quits before we started to get dangerous and by that time i was about 5 car lengths ahead.

a small, but excited little race, just thought id post it.

Obviously, but to just throw out that turbo civics are slow is pretty general. A properly tuned turbo civic with a H22 engine swap will eat his mustang.

No one cares. Obviously this one can't even break 14's, considering it lost by 5 lenghts. Give it up. No one wants to hear that dumb civic crap.

And a properly tuned 347 stroker would rape that Civic. Now stfu.

And nowhere in his post did he say it was turbo'd. But you still made reference to it and said they were slow. That made me wonder why you'd say that? And then to say a 347 would kill that particular civic makes me wonder as well. Sure this is a mustang forum and maybe you don't want to hear civic crap but as a car guy in general I don't care if it's a f'ing grocery cart, as long as it's done with good taste.
