That old man in the Vette is the reason why the exhaust sounds passive. Old farts don't want to hear the V8 rumble and drone. So since the majority of Vette owners are SSI recipients GM must please the majority. It sucks!!!!

a co-worker brought his c5 to work to rub in my face what a "real" sports car is...it sounded like that lingenfelter vette...<sorry if i miss spelled his name....it made me raise my eyebrow...figured it's more bark than bite.

Do the C6's have the valve in the muffler or is that a Z06 only thing.
I have true duals (stock manifolds though) gutted cats and flowmaster one chambers and its loud and sounds especially mean over 3k but I like the sound of most to all V8 mustangs especially with H pipes and headers. But these days I usually can't hear theirs over mine if I am in it. I can't wait to hear what its like with headers.

My WS.6 is very quiet, but when you open it up I really like the sound inside. It is quiet but authorotative. I dunno, I like it. I drove a cammed/full exhaust 5.0 for a while so I know good sound, I just like the refined scream of the WS.6 under WOT.
