I know this isn't racing, but you guys would probably care about this more. so here.
This is base pulls Plus tune. All I have on it is a halltech Stinger. Pull 1 was base then he started tuning.

Damn, look how flat those curves are![:-]
I hope this puts to rest the misconception in some people's minds that LS1s and LS6s need to be revved high to reach their potential. They make power all over the rev range.

I thought they were pretty flat. I can definately feel it. My rev limiter is set at 6800 right now. I need to see if he changed the shift light in the HUD. Thanks for looking man. I knew it was better to post here than anywhere else, b/c you guys care more about it here.

Later

Josh

notice the "smoothing factor '5' ". them lines werent the smoothest to begin with, so with that much of a smoothing factor. id say u might want to look into ur ignition, plugs first!
get some more opinions on that, cuz i could be wrong.

edit: just noticed ur from lakeland area. you ever head out to orlando?

Nice numbers dude! I can't wait to get my Vette

Here's my STi's pump gas map overlaid onto a C6 Z06 dyno. This was done with the same dyno, same correction and everything. Not bad for a 4 banger at half it's potential eh? =P
(on race gas I'm putting down over 100whp/100wtorque over a stock Z06)

^Veeeeeeery different curves there on the low end. The STi doesn't get close until after 4000 rpms. The Vette pulls well practically right off of idle.
In a racing application, though, they should be pretty close.

Unless you can launch around 7k and hold it around 5k, you're *** is grass.

Maybe on the pump gas map

Yeah, it's really kind of an apples to oranges comparison Tommy. I mean, you're comparing 2.8L to 7 right? =P There's going to be a ton more torque in the lower rpms because of the displacement difference. I just thought that overlay was funny, a guy on one of the Subaru forums did it randomly.

Once you get above 4k they match almost perfectly. Pretty stout car you got, I don't care what anyone says. Hell, I still tell guys, that want to race my car, that I have a 4 banger I'd throw on them (my buddies EVO). Talk about them getting in a pissy fit. [8D]
