I was at a light on my 93 zx7 & this real nice silver hardtop viper is on front of me I dont think much of it figuring its some 60 year old guy the light changed & he pulls out slow I go to put down my face sheild & I just see tons of tire smoke so I crack it by 70 I am next to him & by 110 I have 4 cars on him I slow down to take my turn & look over to give him a waive & he looks the other way WTF how can you be mad you lost a race to a bike cocky little rich bastard. I glad the bike I paid 6500 for 10 years ago smoked his ***.

anyone that loses to a bike and is mad about it is a bit on the retarded side. the power to weight ratio is just ungodly. I don;t even screw with bikes.

From a stop, it's pretty ridiculous to try and outrun a bike. From a roll, with a high powered car, it's possible. Drag coefficients > bike.

Top end a car will crush me, bike's have the arodynamics of a semi but cars always try I never pay any mind but sometimes if its exotic I will give it a little run I raced a Lamborgini some year ago we started at 75 or so I smoked him to 130 or so got at least 10 -15 cars on him but after that he started to gain on me I top out at a litte under 160 per all the bike mags I will get to 145 like nothing but after that it realy slows down.

I got up to 120 on a bike once... and that was scary as hell. All I thought about was my skin being flayed off my body if I were to have wrecked. So 120 was good enough for me and I let off it.

i just like the sound of bikes(with aftermarket exhaust anyway). so, if i see one, i rev just to see if theyll rev back. i know im not right. i know this. but, i mean, why would would ANYBODY try to race a bike......street car anyway. supposedly my friend beat an older cbr600. and i KINDA believe it...not completely, but, sorta. hes running a built 347. so, possibly. but, either way, put a car against a 'Busa and see what happens. or a ZX-12R or a GSX-R1000, or a cbr929rr. sorry. i like my bikes just as much as, if not more than cars. im a speed freak. but either way, my friend had me 130 on the back of his bike. '01 ZX6R. full muzzy exhaust, stage 1 jet kit and a K&N. that was a BLAST. i NEED a bike, but, car mods come first. ill have one eventually though. i gotta stop rambling on and on.

About a month ago I raced a zx7 from 0-120ish. The bike had 2 car lengths on me at 80, and at 120 we were even. The guy on the bike was dumbfounded. He said he could hear the blower on my car over his bike. Guys on bikes shouldn't be looking for cars to race. Bikes should race bikes. It cracks me up when some guy on a crotch rocket wants to race a stock gt or the like. Bike vs. car = apples to oranges comparrison.

Ah but the look on the guys face when a sleeper walks his bike like a Civic. Priceless.. Its nearly the same look you get when your primered car leaves a Viper wondering where you went.

If you are near stock then no, dont try a bike. If you have 11 sec slips or faster, well then, your chances are very good if you dont blow the tires off.

Yes the really large ones will flat outrun most cars. 900 with a 200+ pound rider and smaller bikes are fair game. Unless you only see 13's on your slips..
