What'll they do next? Test an Audi TT against a 911? These are comparisons that make the 'Vette look God-like and the Mustang seem incapable.....two very different styles and breeds of cars(with a much different customer base-unless one's finances allows for both!). I guess it's sweeps month at R&T and the American sports car/coupe arena has only two contestants under $70K. It was bad enough when the Camaro-Bird would crush the SN95/New Edge 'Stangs(of course Ford responds with the Terminator AFTER the F-body twins take a dirt nap) and now since Ford sell a 500 hp GT500, well GM makes a 505 hp 'Vette.....let's compare them! I guess this is payback when Shelby was mopping the floor with Sting Rays in his Cobras...........

I can't imagine publishing a trap speed over 120mph with an ET still in the 12's....I'd feel ashamed to be the magazines "driver."

That article sounds like this months Motor Trend. Z06, Viper, and GT500 go head to head. They ran a 12.7 in the GT500[&:] A bit outclassed considering it costs about 30k less than the Z06 and 40k less than the Viper.

The GT500 went 12.7 The Viper did 12.0 and the Z06 did 11.7.
