Lol if you dont have 8k and its gonna be in the 10s than your good with cars and you have been doing your own work. The 8k includes parts being installed and tuned because if I do that my car wont make it out of the garage. And if your civic will be running 10s I give it a year before you start encountering major problems as in problems that will cost more to fix than the upgrades all together. And it probably wont even be your engine since you said its built up, but unless you have completely rebuilt the car your gonna have problems and if you have completely rebiult the car it will be alot more than 8k

bull****. I sure i dont have 8grand in my entire car.& ill be deep in the 10s once3 this season is over with.. & that no changes to my setup other then my new injectors & map sensor.
Edit: & for the record, I drive my car everyday as of now, cuz I wrecked my beater.. So yeah might as well say its an reliable daily driver... that sucks on gas.

Well domestics main advantage has really been big displacement. Notice how many japanese autos have small displacement engines. Japans avatage has been technology. Japan is ahead of everyone when it comes to technology & that not just the auto industry. they have to technology to pull nice number out of smaller engines. Lately tho Us americans have been stepping up our game alot Making much bigging numbers out of smaller V8's & such as the 346 LS1s, S/C 4.6 modular motors, & even some 4cylinders as the SRT, Solstic, Colbalt...

What's the deal with people braging about beating a honda? Friday night i went to the local race hotspot, all i seen were sissy little imports. Whats the deal with 13 year old grade school students claiming they own a 700 horsepower LS1 T/A, espcially when they don't even know what parts to claim to have a 700 horsepower T/A, and when you get called out you cannot even produce fake pictures of the imaignary car.
I cannot believe you guys have been posting on this morons thread for 4+ pages.
