lt1 vs ls1
Ls1 stuff doesnt really cost that much guys. They also come with GREAT heads from the factory, I dare say you could get to the 500whp mark in an LS1 cheaper than you could in a 4.6L 99-04 (year/year comparison to LS1)

Nope. LT1s are somehow quicker with less power. An intake, LTs, and catback is good for 260-280rwhp which is enough to run with stock LS1s. Ick, I was also including a tune...

I threw that out there for the people saying stuff was cheaper for mustangs...maybe by a little, but the power returns are way less.

I agree, it takes much more than that for an lt1 to run with an ls1. Usually full bolt ons and a slightly hotter cam should run with a stock ls1.

yep, they need a cam so they dont fall off in the low 5K rpm range.
