who would win?
im not usually on this forum, but i thought id ask some mustang guys their opinions... a buddy of mine just challenged me and he drives a mustang. he wanted to go one last time before the weather got real bad... his is a 1999 GT 5 speed with straight exhaust and cold air intake.. i was told he wants to put money on it, and i wanted to get some more opinions before i made an a** out of myself and lost money.. honest opinion, who would win? im gonna make it a dead stop or 60 roll .. thanks
If you run him straight up then it is a drivers race with a slight edge toward you. It'll probably be easier for you if you went from a roll that way their is no chance for driver error. Roll races are no fun though so you should go from a dig.
Now if you use the 75 shot then it'll be easy money
Edit: Hold on what does aluminum heads mean? If you have different heads from stock then you have this in the bag. Also noticed that you have an auto so driver error is out the window.

Definatly go from a dig, ricers race from a roll!!!!!! Motor to motor it will be close, but I think you might have a slight edge,if nothing else the lack of driver error since your a auto.If he lets you spray however, bet all the money in your life savings!!!!!
man thanks for thefast replies lol i psted that like 10 minutes ago.... maybe ill just join this forum.. seems to be more efficient with the feedback thanks, and i will do the dig thing i just got 10" street slicks, so his 245 series tires might also give me an edge
I think you'll have him, no doubt. If I were you I wouldn't bet a whole lot of money on it just in case, but I don't think he has much of a chance with no more mods than he has. He doesn't have any more done to his car than I have to mine, and I'm sure I'm not ready to take on LT1's.

well, truth be told, i just threw the aluminum heads on there cuz its kind of a "perk" of buying an LT1. they came with aluminum, so i just put it on there to kinda jazz it up.. but as you can see i had to take a few things off to fit my sig picture on there, and that and the hi flow cat were the first to come off, but im kinda getting the picture that it will work out in my favor anyway
