FYI guys I put down 273 with almost full bolt ons. If I were to guess this guy is putting down mid 250 at the tires.
to the thread starter, it should be a close race, with u having the edge as the speeds increase.

Hopefully not in your 97 Fbody... 273 is a cat back and cold air kit...hell some people have dynoed that in stock LT1 M6 cars.

i got a pic of the engine....i read a post that said you could use one... i havent really looked closely under the hood of another camaro, so tell me what you think... i would probably believe its a v6 at this point.. i did do a carfax on it tho and it came up that it was made in quebec, canada and shipped to hawaii. i assume thats where it became a police car.... i also found out one of the rpo codes revealed that it was originally black... not sure if that had any significance, just givin some info that i found thanks

Is that engine a V6?
No you tard, that is a pic of an LS1 and it appears to have headers, a lid and a smooth bellows. If this is indeed a shot of 94Z28interceptor's engine then the mystery is solved. I have never ever heard of a 94 cop car having an LS1 swaped in but it is possible. I would really like to see a better/larger pic and better proof that this is indeed a pic of his car.
yes an LS1 indeed... you just saved me from pointing out the fact that anyone claiming to have unsoldered a chip in a 94+ Fbody is full of ****. (they use EEPROM not chips if I remember right)...

I know a few LS1 swapped lt1 style cars and even a few v6 cars that have become LS1s now. Looks like that is what happened. Police service probably blew up the LT1 and had access to a wrecked LS1 car or an LS1 crate motor. Either way you have more than enough to eat the mustang.

Can you list the RPO codes?? I would be curious to see if it was an actual 'police' (B4C) car or not

The stock LT1 numbers I've seen have typically been 250ish at the wheels.

I AM CALLING SHENANIGANS!
That is indeed a Procharged LS1; anyone who buys GM High Tech Performance can refer to page 50 of the February '07 issue. There is no way you can buy a supercharged LS1 (or any other car) and not notice a friggin' blower under the hood.
No one is that clueless. No one.
Is that the exact pic from the magazine?? This whole deal bull**** then?? Damn these threads.

No, it's a different pic but you can tell that it's of a Procharged LS1 similar to the one in the magazine. The box with the tubes coming out of each side is the intercooler.

Well with 267 RW I ran a 13.0, now I have 273 RW. Honestly I dont care if it only put down 190 RW, it runs good numbers at the track.

I just noticed that there is a plaque attached to the passenger side head. What does it say?

Well, he's gone and I dont expect him to come back..

But I have a question.. I am wondering why ANYONE thought the New Edge GT had a chance?

Stock vs Stock they are nearly equal.. then throw in DR's, some mods, and 3.73's.. and I would'nt have thought twice about it..

LOL.. is that a v6 janine is silly
