What all the jackass comments, the guy needs help shifting.
Who was being a jackass? So far everyone was answering his questions....

When you shift is dependent completely on your car and setup. Practice makes perfect to find out what works best for you

usually shift at like 6200 or 6300, hard to tell in first it revs so fast

you want to shift a little bit after your peak power. after the peak, you are still making pretty good power, and the next shift will keep you higher up in your powerband. try like 5400 or 5500 if it peaks at 5250
First does indeed go by quick. I already hit the rev limiter and messed up a belt.
imagine with 4.56 gears...

lol i would have to launch quite a bit lower, or i'd be bouncing it off the rev limiter before i knew what was going on

6400 2-3 to maximize power band
6200 3-4 to maximize torque, as i cross at 6000 in 4th

hey man if it helps I shift mine at 5900 I had mine dynoed too with the #'s in my sig it peaked at 5500 but if I shift at that my times were slower, but with the amount of mods you have, if you are running street tires is all about the launch, I only broke thirteens once last run I have done still trapped the same as I always do but somehow got it out of the hole pretty good. Your car is still making power at redline just not as much plus the higher you let it go the closer you are to peak when you shift.

Sure, this sounds nice. But I have only 1 shift light. So I guess I can set it at 6200 and wait a fractor of a sec longer in 2nd and 3rd.
