I smoked a STI they other day with my 30,000 dollar supercharged 05 GT Mustang............(Beat him bye a good 2 car Lengths in the 1/4)
STI cost the guy a little over 33,000 out the door.
My 05 GT was 25,860 out the door.....5200 dollar Vortec supercharger and tune........Grand total of a little over 31,000 dollars........
Moral of the story is I payed 2000 dollars less and have a car that will kill the Best 30 grand car around.........( And my car turns heads too)(STI looks like my moms Piece of ****)

I took an STI at the track even when I missed third gear, the best part was passing him even though I had my 2 second reaction time. 
I'm very disappointed you only one by two cars honestly you should be over 400 to the wheels and whats he at 350 awh max? Anyway at least you won, but I expected better...
When I raced that STI it was before my cams for reference.

This thread makes me want to accept the challenge from a local evo guy who i believe is modded quite a bit and ive gone out to see him run and he looks pretty fast.... If it doesnt rain maybe i just will.

The real point of this thread was to show that for 2000 dollars less then a stock STI you can own a better looking car that is alot faster then almost any car around the 30,000 dollar range............Ford hit it out of the park with the new mustang, period.

^While that is true, there is someone on the civic forums posting about how they bought their car for $3000 and put a $12000 motor swap in it and smoked a new stock mustang haha.
