Hey Redline, Any time a Mustang beats an STI, or a Vette or any other car it's reason to celebrate! Sometimes you just can't please anyone. Especially the guys that are supposed to be on your side!

 

IT is funny to me that there are so many Ricer's on this board who own mustangs.........Why did you guys not go with the cars you really wanted.............

Nice kill! He must have had quite a bit of work done to keep up with you. Be careful though, there are a couple of STis/EVOs out there that would be a much better matchup for you

I also disagree with the statement that a modified V8 will always beat a modified 4 banger. In my opinion, it's not the size of your engine but the size of your BUDGET that dictates how fast your car can be. It really doesn't matter what platform you're using, you can make anything fast if you throw enough money at it [8D]

why do people think these sti wrx's r so fast, i took one from a 60 roll in a mildly modded 2000 gt with a 4.6 by like 1.5 cars,.. all i had for parts were an aluminum flywheel, full off road x pipe, beast violator mufflers , centerforce cluch plate and a diablosport tuner, i havent even gotten to my eibach drag pak sitting here or my demon throttle body , underdrive pully kit or my c/l intake! and i have a new crate engine with only 3200 miles so far this is my slowest mustang i own and ive beaten sti's twice, i love racing cars with bov's, it sounds cool when they shift by you, but still for a domestic these things unless heavly modded, are **** in "stock"
