Lifting the valve covers is not neccessary, just some choice bolt-ons.

im not familiar enough with the newer vettes to know what it takes to put an LS1 vette into the low 12s...but i would venture to say that it doesnt take more than a cam and some head work?

nanaki, i dont doubt that with just intake/exhaust a cobra puts down huge numbers, but we have seen many times that 425hp doesnt always equate to a very fast car. hell, i read somewhere that it took a guy 200 more whp just to run 12.20s..

Kadence if I were to buy a used Corvette I would have bought the same exact one that you have/plan on having(talking about the rims). Black/Black M6 Targa(the ultimate coolness) and the Z06 wheels
CAI, cat-back and pulley... with street tires and a slipping belt

Best was 12.583@115.292 with a 2.2 60'
87+ Degree's all night, humidity up the bunghole....not all that shabby for the first time with the Cobra!!

i know, but i was comparing mod costs. a pulley is cheaper than a cam
an 03 cobra with just a K&N filter and catback put down 425RWHP. at the end of the day though, the vette gets em wette
