Went and picked up my new toy in Dallas today. Its a 99 Corvette M6, black with the targa top on 20 inch chrome rims in the back and 18s in the front. I actualy hate the rims and selling them as quick as possible for some Z06's. Its got a complety forged bottom end and a mild cam. Everything else is completley stock, even the exhaust. So i raced my buddies 98 GT with a 01 motor will full bolt-ons, exhaust and 4.10s. For first through second he hung withing3 cars of me than after i hit third i started pulling hard, the top end on the vette is insane. I think if i raced my cobra i could take it from a very high roll. Ill get some pics up tommorow

Hehe, It cracks me up when people think vette's are unstoppable but they will talk **** about a Z28 when in fact they are ='s in a strait line up tp 120 or so when the vette should edge ahead. Just be careful and dont fall for that too or it will bite ya, im sure you already knew that though. In handling...Vette...no contest.
NICE CAR!!!
Welcome to the wonderful world of the LSX!!! Us Ford guys have come over one by one

I was just doing some research on head-flow numbers. At the stock cam lifts the LS1 heads flow: 220intake/170exhaust for some of the lower numbers I have found. This is DEAD = on the intake to a stage III Patriot 2V head, although it loses by 20cfm on the exhaust side to the stage III. (again, with both engines having stock cam(s)) The stock 2valve PI head just sucks ***. The best numbers I could find for it at stock lift were 180/155 and those are pretty optomistic.
Oh, you should get well over 25 mpg in the vette. I get 27+ on road trips in my WS6 if I keep my foot out of it, less weight/wind resistance should put you at near 30mpg in 6th with the cruise set

Nitrous.....this is all. Untuned LS1 on a 100 shot > tuned/pullied/bolt-on Slowbra. All day, anyday.

i know, but i was comparing mod costs. a pulley is cheaper than a cam
an 03 cobra with just a K&N filter and catback put down 425RWHP. at the end of the day though, the vette gets em wette

You are a worthless, heartless fanboy....And "anyday" isn't even a word.
