may not have been as easy of a kill if it was from a dig. especially for an almost stock GT.

haha yeah thanx, yeah it was from a roll. I have NO tires left, and he is AWD. Plus my Tranny is ****ED so i def woulda lost from stop. I was impressed it was the 320hp one, thought it woulda beat me. But o well. :-)

Raced a 93 stang last night. I was impressed he actully kept up untill like bottom of 3rd gear. I never run into a REALLY nice Fox Body. This one sounded nice, So if n e one lives is Portrichey FL, Was it you???

the guy obviously wasn't modded. i raced the dodge stealth version and got walked twice from a roll. thing was a beast. i run mid 13's and he was giving me hell. a few mods and those cars are mid 12's all day long.

They're not a DSM they were imported straight from Japan[&:]

They do have a bad reputation reliability wise but I hear that it's actually BS but not sure...

Nope, they are pretty expensive to fix. Plus, all of the crazy stuff they put on those things, adjustable spoiler to the speed your going, all wheel steering, just all of the electronic stuff has a nasty habit of breaking and being really expensive to fix. Not sure about the major componets of the car though.

PS, not all Japanese cars are reliable.

Oh I know they are expensive and all Japanese cars aren't reliable. All that electronics stuff was pulled out by 96 though. One by one they pulled out the all wheel steering, adjustable spoiler, and some other electronic **** that I can't remember.

I have heard from their forums that the motors are pretty stout and the transmissions are good once you change out the tranny fluid for the correct one because they ****ed up from the factory...

didn't know that, thanks for the info. I know the 5 speed, then later 6 speed, tranny they used was from getrag, mitsu didn't have a strong enough tranny to handle the power.
