First Kill In My Terminator!
NIce kill. It's always going to be a war on this topic, the terminator is supercharged, if my camaro was supercharged it would be even. but like it was mentioned, the cubes play a role also. So if you put a supercharger on a ls1, over 400 HP, alittle more than a 281 cid cobra S/C cobra. hmmm, well lets up the cubes alittle, not more than a LS1's motor, lets say a 5.4 330 cid motor and supercharge that...hmmm, hey did that and got 500HP. To make it more even, i think ford should had made a modular 351 windsor, put some high flow heads, nice cam or cams, and made that thing rock, then it could be even. Hell look at the 2000 Cobra R, it's a 5.4 N/A 330 cidand making terminator power, but for some reason that would probably be unfair to an LS1 owner. I think the terminator agaist the SS is fair, one is SC with little cubes and one has alot more cubes. Not trying to be a dick, but that's all i hear ALL the time about how unfair it is. so if a highly modded ls1 beats me, i should throw the no fair flag and tell him it's cause he's to modified and it's not a even race? a race is a race, modified or not modified, you see what the car is, what is has, and you gamble and race. win or lose, it's all about what can you do to improve your ride or know what not to race.
You know what i use to even say that( its sc, my not). But there the same price and one is build for FI. LS1 are buid to be build were the term are bulid for boost. Even if you spent the money for a sc on a ls1, you have to build it up right if you want a good amount of boost.
Dont get me wrong; i would love to own a ws6 or a term for that fact. but lets face it; those term are NO JOKE.

Both cars can make just as much power as the other with very little money. The Terminators are/were more expensive than an LS1's. The only LS1's to run the same price as a Terminator was the anniversary WS6's. And even those, around here, ran right at $30k in 2002. Both cars can hold around 600rwhp reliably. Both start breaking **** above 600rwhp....
As far as the blower vs N/A aspect of it, a blower basically adds cubes....that's why the KB's/Whipple's/etc...are rated in Liters. They basically add that much more motor to the motor itself. A stock Cobra motor with a stock Eaton moves as much air as a 400ci motor would....so the displacement argument kinda gets thrown out the window.
