Yea...i dont see any stock Z ever putting down 287whp from the factory. I would say maybe more like 260ish.
I raced a stock z and beat. It was probably at my back bumper at about 65 or so (not sure on that it was a while ago). It was an auto though. I would say if you can drive you can probably pull it off.

WTF? The older ones made that to the crank. The newer 05+ make 300 hp/260 tq. Our numbers but inverted. If it's a manual and a newer one it has a slight edge but nothing you can't overcome with good driving. If it's an automatic and you can drive you'll be fine

All the 350Z's I seen run at the drag strip were low to mid 14 second cars. I've seen them loose to Cobalt ss's! Not flaming on the coblat just trying to give an idea of how fast the Z is. From everything I've read the 350Z is an awesome road course car.

My buddy has an 05 Z; its hard to get off the line. but its pretty quick. I've beatin him every time (2006 Gt, 5spd). I dont know where every one saying a 02 Gt can beat it; he's beating them all ready. I also have beating older gts worse then ive beating him. i also do know auto Z have less hp. so who knows.
also the new Z'(2007)s have 320ish hp. and 260ish maybe 270ish tq. Well if you go to there web site; they have 306 SAE hp but that about 320 to the crank.

Tommy, I have seen that also... and I cant understand why ive never seen a stock 350 break a 13... even modded 350z's break 13s.. I never understood it. even when my 04' was stock I beat a few 350z's... The only one that came close was one time when we hit curves and i had to slow down and he gained on me hard, but we straightened out, and i left him again... I just wonder if these cars are just driven to 75% of there capability by the drivers or what...
