not a mustang story but just funny as hell:

So my buddy and i are out in his 05 legacy gt manual full stage 2 (which is really sick). this chystler 300 w/ the hemi pulls up with4 teenager wanksters in it. the driver floors it at the light and my buddy just follows (not even trying mind you). next light the guys rolls down his window and starts talking ****. he says do you really thinkthat grocery getter can keep up with this muscle car. so i said to the kid. when is the last time you saw a muscle car with 4 doors and your driving a chystler 300. He takes off, gets to about 30mph and points out his window to the hemi symbol on the side of the fender and says i got a hemi! i got a hemi! then at the same time my buddy revs up and shifts, the other guy floors it too. and he fn destroys that hemi. hahaha i mean as soon as he down shifted, that hemi was so fn far back it wasn't even funny. so then we slowed down to 20mph and waited for him. he give us the thumbs down and tries to take off on us. hhaahhaha so we just kept fn with him. matching speeds and then blowing him away. i am screaming out the window, WHERE DID YOUR HEMI GO? He must of felt like a tard with his dads car and his wankgter friends. we laughed and laughed. I got a hemi! I got a hemi! i wish i had my camera. here is a pic of his car. sleeper

so the guy drove away, and before you were moving, and the other guy was going 30, you could hear him talking over the exhaust and such?

also, while i dont know much about this "stage" nonsense...a stock legacy GT is giving up about 100 horsepower...while its lighter (i would imagine) it would need a bit of help to make up for thatdifference. the only info that i can find about that stage 2 is someone running mid 13s...which is faster than a stock 300C, but if the 300 had a head start to 30, it wouldnt be a walk for the subbie,

 

no he took off from the light and got to 30 mph and maintain that speed so he could talk his smack. we raced from the 30 mph. we weren't even racing from the first light becuasehe was in the left lanefirst at the light and we were in the right lane behind aregular car . so he took off and just waitedfor us. Stage 2, i know i think it is gay too. but here is the break down of the mods. catless 3 inch down pipe with cut out, catless sti up pipe. (no cats on car). Stock cat back. access port programed to stage 2. short shifter, turbo timer w/ boost guage. car pushes 1.35 bars or 17-19 psi. air box mod. i think that is it. he ran a 13.2 at celcil county dragway and that was w/ a slipping clutch which is fix now. so yeah it is fastand the 300 got its a$$ handed to him.

 

well, fast compared to a 300, yes...that is pretty good.

 

plus the 300.5 had 3 other pas. total
