roll races

At this point, I'd take any race I can get. It's been ages since I've raced anybody at all. This area SUCKS for races. [:'(]

plus some of the IRS cars it's better to screw around from a roll.... might as well take it easy on the drive shaft if your just having a good time... if money is involved.... f*ck a roll..... and punch it in the as*hole

Why is that?? A roll is THE ONLY way to display POWER.. From is good if everything goes well for both racers.. Or you will hear about traction issues and Blah Blah Blah.. What issues do you have from a roll.. Missed a gear that's it!! The faster car ALWAYS wins from a roll not so from A dig.. I'll take it from a roll anyday!!

A roll race isn't truly a race but they are still useful. I think when you set up a race people should go from a dig and a roll. I wouldn't race from a roll.....beat someone by 1/2 a car and claim victory

I enjoy 1/4 drags most and then long road course but I think a roll race is the easiest on your car. There's alot of wear and tear involved with drag racing especially if your car makes alot more power than stock. I agree with everyone that says it takes no skill to roll race but your car will love you for the roll race instead of the drag[8D]
I've been ragged on in the past for saying this but I'll say it again:
[blockquote]
Rolling acceleration is a good representation of accelerating out of a corner on a road course.[/blockquote]
All things being equal (cornering grip, braking, driver skill, etc.), the car that has the best roll-on acceleration wins on a road circuit or oval.
How many times do you need to launch from a dead stop during Daytona 500 or LeMans? You 60' time is about as important as your grandma's birthdate on anything but a drag strip.

You wanna see who has the best driving skill watch stock car racing!!
You wanna see who has more POWERand the faster car run em from a roll!!
roll racing is for people who dont have the skill to launch a car..."displaying power" can be done on a dyno. it doesnt matter if you have a 642rwhp car, if you cant launch it, youre still only going to have a 12 second car...
