+1 C6... the terminators are faster but only by around a half second depending on drivers...

The only way in heck i could ever see this happened is if the guy in the sti didnt know how to drive.. bogged off the line horribly... then gave up because he thought he already lost... or he blew his transmission.

Even if he did bog off the line he'd catch you by the time you were in 2nd gear. those things are no joke. Your 97' isn't exactly fast the way it is.... I beat the crap out of one in my bolt on GT.. ha

the sti will beat the new edge Cobras also pretty handily.. it will lose to a terminator though...

Equal drivers the STi will beat any Cobra until the 03s. From a roll the 99/01s should beat it.

Now with equal drivers a Terminator will own a STi

All wheel drive.Their trap speeds are kinda crappy[stock]but they can still run low 13s because they spin little or none.

IDK,never run one since there really isn't very many around here,I think I could hold my own pretty well against a stock one.
