AFAIK you actually can't get the STi in a red color, but you can get the regular WRX in red. There is a red Ali Afshar STi that's like 450bhp, but those are pretty rare and are really considered tuner cars.

There's a small possibility that particular driver had his STi repainted red, but there's a much larger possibility that particular driver put an STi trunk/wing on his WRX and was calling it an STi. There's a good chance that he really sucked at driving too, but I wouldn't count on beating every WRX or STi that you run into because there are plenty of high 11 / low 12 second WRX / STis out there. Either way, nice kill... but it does sound like you were kind of being the antagonistic ricer in that story [8D]

Fun fact: My motor is actually more built than the ESX drag car, which runs the quarter mile at 173mph. Now, to be fair, the ESX drag car has a WAY bigger turbo, fuel system, and most likely a shot of nitrous to run that fast. But I still like to say that

With his mods he's 13.6 at best.....he would get owned by a STI and even a newer WRX would give him a good run...
