Actually John Force pulled a 13.2 in a Mach 1 and around 12.9 in a LS2 GTO
. It's a 50 bhp difference between the LS1 and LS2[8D]
That should be one good race. From a roll the GTO will probably(more than likely) win but from a dig it's anyones game.

LS2...... john force did a 13.4 with a stock mach 1 and a 13.5 with a stock LS1 GTO... so the extra 100 BHP would get you no matter how bad a driver I'm pretty sure

can't tape anything now its too cold.here. And by the time it gets warm enough to tape he will have gears midpipe/catback tune. And I will have a 3k stall , longtubes, cam, tune, and possibly shot of nitrous. I will be making around 430 to the wheels ( pretty good size cam) n/a and about 550 to the wheels on the juice, so I guess I will never know. until I see it on video.stock for stock.

Driver error perhaps? However, the GTO's really run about a 13.1-13.2 because of the driveability. The autos are actually faster then the M6's... Go figure a GM auto>GM m6... lol

You must have mods or a hell of a launch tobeat a LS2 GTO in the quarter if it went 13.2 in the 1/4.
