Welcome

I have not ever gotten a really good run but, I did mess w/ a chick in one. I have to say, that they are peppy. I guess I will have to see how they stack up from a dig w/ me this year.

The new ones are nice but I miss the mid to late 90's body style. I had a 97 GST spider / black top convertible. The only reason I had to get rid of it was my first daughter. I just couldn't get a car seat into it. I haven't driven the new ones but I'm sure there pretty peppy.

I would like to note, I will never ever own a high-powered front wheel drive car again....

What I noticed is that it is now a V6 but the displacement is small, almost would have been better to keep the 4 cyl with the same displacement.

They run good, look great with a set of nice rims, any bolt on turbo kits for it yet or supercharges?

my mom just bought a new Eclipse GT M6 on saturday. I'm not gonna lie, it is pretty quick (i chirped the tires in 2nd gear), but it cant hold a candle to my GT. Now, in all honesty, i still think it would take quite a bit of aftermarkets to compete with even a stock GT

not saying that you are full of sh*t, but i think it would take a whole lot more than an intake and exhaust to beat a GT by 2-3 car lengths...

Could have been Mustang driver erro, or rockie syndrome.

Probably driver error.

Hey I had a 96. Black with black top[&:]

Those GTs have ran low 14s so I don't see why you couldn't run a 13.8 with one. That is still one hell of a time and you can drive your *** off. I did run a new GS(probably automatic) and put train lengths on it at the track....I would've thought they made the 4 bangers a little faster...11.8[8D](in the 1/8th)

Another guy from MN, whats up. I roll down at uni on fridays, and saturdays during the summer too, i usually hang out at porkys though with the domestic muscle guys. I did go down to foodmart/saver whatever it is called though one time. That place has more rice in one parking lot than i have ever seen before, it is a regular rice convetion down there. I am sure some of them have some reasonably fast/quick cars but for the most part it looks like alot of body kits a fart cans imo. Maye you know better since you hang out down there idk. maybe i'll see you down there this summer once this snow finally goes bye bye. where in MN are you from by the way?

you might want to give a little more effort in your research of mitsubishi's engines.... this 4th gen 3.8 is by far the best motor mitsu has to boast about

@ 3PSI 307WHP
@ 6PSI 367WHP/320TQ.

not only do these engines scream "mod me" they also have the torque where the previous platforms fell flat
