+1 on everything except the fun to drive part. There are no "twisties" around here so that would be useless. Plus you can do donuts so much easier with a RWD car, you can drift and do burnouts
...I would burn my car for an STi though so that might make you feel better[8D]

To be quite honest, the GT will have a slight advantage from a roll. Unless:
1) It's raining
2) It's snowing
3) Your brother sucks at driving!
The STi will have a huge advantage in the twisties and will overall be a more fun car to drive. You won't regret it!

...BTW, the S197 would have the advantage from a roll until itshifts into 5th because the STI's gearing is great for high speeds shifting from 5th to 6th only knocks you down about 1200rpm's, so it still pulls like the top of 5th... just my .02
