hey does anyone know how fast the new sti is from a roll? i know that they are awd and that will hurt their performance from a roll, but they look pretty fast still. the reason i am asking is because i am getting ready to buy one. My brother has a 2006 mustang gt and i am wondering if the subie would be able to hang with him from a roll.

To be quite honest, the GT will have a slight advantage from a roll. Unless:
1) It's raining
2) It's snowing
3) Your brother sucks at driving!
The STi will have a huge advantage in the twisties and will overall be a more fun car to drive. You won't regret it!

Why are you guys talking about racing from a roll? Roll racing sucks, just race from a dig. From a dig, after you figure out how to launch the car you will beat him by about2 or3 cars. The 05+ GT's when equipped with a manual can hit 13.5's, so if your brother isa pretty good driver than it will be a decent race.
